These sample rules demonstrate how Make Your Guess competitions can be configured. Each live promotion may have its own eligibility criteria, prizes, dates and additional conditions.
Participation is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to enter or win. Entries submitted by or on behalf of minors are ineligible. The organiser may request proof of age and identity before awarding a prize. Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in disqualification.
Only one entry is permitted per person per competition. Duplicate email addresses will be rejected. Using multiple email addresses to submit additional entries is not permitted.
Entrants must provide a valid work email address. Personal or free email addresses, including Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook.com, iCloud, QQ and similar services, are not accepted. The organiser may verify the validity of an entrant's work email address.
The eligible entry with the guess closest to the official number of bricks wins, regardless of whether the guess is above or below the actual count.
If two or more eligible entries are equally close to the official count, the earliest valid submission, based on the recorded submission timestamp, wins.
Once submitted, an entry cannot be amended or replaced. Withdrawing an entry does not entitle an entrant to submit another guess.
Entries must be received within the published competition period. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered. The organiser's recorded submission time will be used to determine entry order.
Anyone involved in preparing the container, counting the bricks or otherwise having access to the official brick count is not eligible. Additional geographical, event attendance or other eligibility restrictions may apply to individual competitions.
No purchase or payment is required to enter. Making a purchase does not improve an entrant's chances of winning.
The winner will be contacted using the work email address submitted with their entry. If the winner does not respond within 5 business days of notification, the organiser may award the prize to the next closest eligible entry, applying the same tiebreaker where necessary.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless expressly stated otherwise. If a prize becomes unavailable, the organiser may substitute an alternative of equal or greater value. Winners must satisfy all eligibility and verification requirements before receiving a prize.
The organiser may disqualify entries that are duplicate, automated, fraudulent, incomplete, misleading or otherwise in breach of these rules. Attempts to manipulate the competition or submission system may result in disqualification.
The organiser is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received due to technical issues outside its reasonable control. Only entries successfully recorded by the competition system will be considered.
The organiser may amend, suspend or cancel a competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, technical failures or other legitimate reasons, subject to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Personal information collected through the competition will be used to administer entries, verify eligibility, determine winners and arrange prize fulfilment, in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy. Any optional marketing communications will be subject to separate consent where required.
The organiser's determination of the official brick count, entry eligibility and winning entry is final, subject to applicable law.
